Bennett Earl Adkins, 69, of Lexington, TN, passed away Monday, September 2nd, at his home. He was a retired maintenance technician with Proctor and Gamble in Jackson. Bennett is survived by a daughter, Tina (Todd) Hicks, of Medina; two sons, Tony (Kimberly) Adkins, of Lexington; Troy Don Adkins, of Lexington; a brother, Larry (Donna) Adkins, of Scotts Hill. He is also survived by 10 Grandchildren - Josh, Paul (Trista) & Becca Adkins, Jacob & Hannah Poteet, Katie & Mason Hicks, Eryn, Ashlyn & Brooke Adkins. 3 Great Grandchildren - Victoria & Blayne Carrington & Thomas Armstreet. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarance Sylvester and Helen Louise Rushing Adkins, 2 brothers, Walter Bennett and Terry Paul Adkins and by 5 sisters, Dorothy Adkins, Louise Mills, Juanita Vise, Imogene Blackstock and Linda Cooper. His Funeral Service will be held at Reed's Chapel, Scotts Hill, TN, at 2 PM on Friday, September 6th, with Bro. Bobby Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Lone Chestnut Cemetery. Visitation is Thursday 11 AM - 9 PM and Friday 9 AM until service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to.
