Harry Lynn Epperson, age 80, passed away Saturday, September 11,2021 in Jackson. Harry served as an Elder at Palestine Cumberland Presbyterian Church and was a retired foreman with Magnetek. He was an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals, Tennessee Titans, and Tennessee Volunteers. He loved old country and bluegrass music and played bass in the David Wolfe band. He loved hot rods and enjoyed helping family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Wallace Epperson, a daughter, Tracey L. Epperson of Ashland City, a son, Gregory L. Epperson of Florida, 2 half-sisters, Sandy Grant Barnett and Judy Grant Smith, 2 half-brothers, Richard Grant and Russell Grant, 6 grandchildren, Cody J. Wood, Raven Dallas Hall, Carli J. Milligan, J.C. Blackmon, Scarlett Epperson, and Jolene Epperson, and a great-grandchild, Henry J. Milligan. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lorene Viola Epperson, his father, Nolan Grant, and a step-daughter, Tammy Blackmon. Funeral services will be Tuesday, September 13 at 1PM at Reeds Chapel with burial to follow in the Palestine Community Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday 11AM-8PM and Tuesday 9AM until service.
