Loy Vernice Lewis, age 90, of Lexington passed away Thursday, October 29,2020. She is survived by a daughter, Jan (Mark) Dornellas of Memphis, 2 sons, Terry Neil Lewis of Como,MS., and Doug (Inge) Lewis of Orange, Texas, a sister, Imogene Frye of Lexington, 4 grandchildren, James Maisey, Brandi Maisey, Cody Hilder, and Casey Hilder, and 2 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawton Lewis, her father and step-mother, Dorsey and Mary Townsend, a sister, Nancy Townsend Stanfill , and 2 brothers, Lonnie Townsend and Lyman Townsend. Graveside funeral services will be Sunday, November 1 at 1PM at the Henderson County Memory Gardens. Visitation will be at Reeds Chapel Sunday 12PM until service. The family requests everyone attending visitation or service wear a mask and practice social distancing.
