Naomi Fiddler

August 14, 1924 - February 9, 2022

Naomi Brewer Fiddler passed away, Wednesday, February 9, 2022 in Jackson, TN. At age 97, she had become an inspiration to many people. She faced many challenges with illnesses and hardships, but always managed a smile for others. As a child she grew up in the New Prospect Community in Decatur County. In June 1943, she married Hulon Fiddler and following the end of World War II, they made their home in the Christian Chapel Community where they farmed for many years before moving to Lexington. She knew hard work whether farming, working in factories, or business. Perhaps her greatest joy was making beautiful special cakes for other to enjoy. She is survived by a daughter, Ann Fiddler of Lexington. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hulon Fiddler; brothers, Aubrey Brewer (Donna) and an infant brother; as well as all her brothers and sister in laws. Funeral services will be on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 3PM at Reed’s Chapel with interment to follow in Lexington Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 4PM-9PM and Saturday from 10AM until service. Memorials may be made to Broad Street Church of Christ-Missions, Christian Chapel Church of Christ, or Frances Hensley Animal Shelter. Due to COVID the family has request that all visitors follow CDC protocols.
