Robert Aubrey “Bob” Ligon Jr., age 78, passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2019 in Nashville. He was retired from the TVA and the United States Marine Corps. He is survived by his longtime girlfriend, Debbi Chumney of Reagan, 2 sisters, Freida Land of Tampa and Delores Agee of Kenton, several friends, and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Lorraine Ligon. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, July 2 at 12PM at Reed’s Chapel in Lexington with burial to follow in the TN State Veteran’s Cemetery at Parkers Crossroads with military honors. Visitation will be on Monday from 6PM-9PM and Tuesday from 10 AM until service. The family requests in lieu of flowers memorials be made to the Truckers Chapel at North 40 in Holliday, 1122 Dudley Ferry Loop, Hurricane Mills,TN 37078
