Ruby Lean James, age 83, passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2020 in Jackson. she is survived by 2 daughters, Brenda Pritchett (Wayne) of Lexington and Lisa Griggs (Jeff) of Lexington; 2 brothers, Paul McDaniel of Lexington and Charles McDaniel of Lexington; 1 sister, Eunice Horn of Lexington; 2 very special nieces, Kathy Brooks and Marcie Tritschler; a son in law, Ricky White; 7 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, O.B. James; parents, Oscar and Buna McDaniel; a daughter, Linda White; 2 brothers, Arthur Lee McDaniel and Luther Gene McDaniel; and 1 sister, Helen Singleton. Funeral services will be on Friday, June 12 at 1PM at Reed’s Chapel in Lexington with burial to follow in Sand Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 11AM-9PM and Friday from 9AM until service.
